Located deep in the remote Markha Valley of Ladakh, Kang Yatse II stands tall at 6,250 meters, making it one of the most accessible 6000+ meter peaks in India. With its relatively lesser-technical route, it offers a rare chance for you to experience high-altitude mountaineering. Over the initial days, you’ll journey through dramatic landscapes, from the lush banks of the Markha River to cold desert stretches and snow-covered slopes. You’ll pass through ancient Ladakhi villages, interact with locals, and witness the deep-rooted culture of Buddhism through monasteries, prayer flags, and chortens that line the trail.
